3. In 2015, Mei Yong appeared as Lady Nie Tian, Nie Yinniang’s mother, in the wuxia film The Assassin. This role got her nominated for a Chinese Film Media Award for “Best Supporting Actress” in 2016.
4. She was cast as Mother Yu in the 2017 coming-of-age romance film Secret Fruit.
