  2. His father would travel 40 km every morning while he and his brother were training at the Raipur Wrestling Akhara in Sonipat just to give them both fresh milk.
  3. The 74 kg gold medal was previously won by prominent fellow freestyle wrestler Sushil Kumar in 2018.
  4. During the 2022 Commonwealth Games, he won a gold medal in the men’s freestyle 74 kg category against fellow Pakistani wrestler Muhammad Sharif Tahir in the finals with a score 9-0.
