- He was brought up in New England. He also spent a certain part of his younger years in Salem, New Hampshire.
- Groff was enrolled in his school swim team when he was only 4 years old.
- He and future ghost hunter Aaron Goodwin met while he was studying at the University of Nevada.
- Nick developed an interest in ghost hunting after his very own paranormal experience of having seen a black man’s ghostly figure. This, in turn, triggered a questioning response and since then he has been researching and chasing down ghosts.
- In the past, Nick founded Groff Entertainment.
- On the show Ghost Adventures (2004), he was co-investigator, executive producer, editor, and cameraman.
- He got together with paranormal investigators Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin and started the docu-series Ghost Adventures. Later, he befriended Aaron Goodwin and did not return to the show.
- In 2013, he started the health organization “Drive Health & Fitness” in Methuen and co-owned it until 2015.
- Nick released his debut album titled The Other Side on February 5, 2012. The album consisted of a total of 12 tracks in all which are Enter My Realm, What’s Next, Energy, Black Death, Spiritual War, Memories, Ghost Killer, Night Terrors, Traveling Man, Part II, World Domination, Life, One Soul, and Baby Being Born.
- He released his second album titled Spiritual War: Good vs. Evil on December 21, 2012.
- Besides being a talented rapper and TV personality he also competed at the American Ninja Warrior in 2014. Later, he took part in the “Boston Spartan Race” and won it.
