1. He has a pet dog named Mocha.
2. Prithviraj was a remarkable student during his school days. He bagged the title of “LA Fest” in the Annual Inter-School arts festival hosted by Loyola School, Thiruvananthapuram for 2 successive years and is the only person to date to bag that title twice.
3. He owns a restaurant in Qatar called Spice Boat along with his brother and his mother.
4. In 2006, Prithviraj received the Kerala State Award for the Best Actor for his role in the film Vaasthavam and became the youngest actor to win the award.
5. He co-starred as P. Sukumaran a.k.a. Suku in the 2006 Malayalam-language coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama film Classmates. The film became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2006 and is regarded as a classic in Malayalam cinema.
6. In 2012, Prithviraj made his Bollywood debut with Aiyya opposite Rani Mukerji.
