Prithviraj Sukumaran is an Indian actor, director, producer, and playback singer who has mainly worked in Malayalam cinema while also appearing in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi language films. His work has won him many accolades, including a National Film Award, at least 3 Kerala State Film Awards, a Tamil Nadu State Film Award, and a Filmfare Awards South. He was pursuing his degree in Information Technology from the University of Tasmania, Australia when he was offered a lead role in a film and hence decided to leave his studies to focus on his career.

- Prithviraj was a remarkable student during his school days. He bagged the title of “LA Fest” in the Annual Inter-School arts festival hosted by Loyola School, Thiruvananthapuram for 2 successive years and is the only person to date to bag that title twice.
- He owns a restaurant in Qatar called Spice Boat along with his brother and his mother.
- In 2006, Prithviraj received the Kerala State Award for the Best Actor for his role in the film Vaasthavam and became the youngest actor to win the award.
- He co-starred as P. Sukumaran a.k.a. Suku in the 2006 Malayalam-language coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama film Classmates. The film became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2006 and is regarded as a classic in Malayalam cinema.
