  3. On January 4, 1967, The Doors released its eponymous debut studio album via Elektra Records and the Library of Congress selected the album for inclusion in the National Recording Registry for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” in 2015.
  4. His fellow The Doors members included Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, and John Densmore.
  5. Along with John Densmore, Robby Krieger co-founded the band called the Butts Band in 1973. The band’s other members included Phil Chen, Roy Davies, Jess Roden, Mick Weaver, Mike Berkowitz, Alex Richman, Karl Ruckner, Michael Stull, and David Paul Campbell.
  6. With the Butts Band, he released the band’s debut self-titled album in 1974.
  7. Butts Band‘s 2nd and last studio album titled Hear and Now was released in 1975 and its tracklist included Caught in the MiddleCorner of My MindLivin’ and Dyin’If You Gotta Make a Fool of SomebodyFeelin’ So BadAct of Love, and others.
  8. Robby Krieger was portrayed by Frank Whaley in the 1991 biographical film The Doors.
