- Robson Green decided that he wanted to join the Royal Air Force after getting inspired by jets flying overhead. He joined the Air Training Corps when he was 16 years old but then decided not to pursue a career in the RAF after 2 weeks at an officer training camp.

- He was considered for the role of The Master in Doctor Who (2005) but he turned down the offer.
