Sheff G is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who shot to fame with his single No Suburban (2017) which was a reaction to the song Suburban (2016) by 22Gz, his number having gone viral garnering more than 500k views in less than 2 weeks after he dropped it on YouTube. Credited as one of the pioneers of the Brooklyn Drill music movement, he gained further popularity by releasing several tracks including Play for the Members” (2018), a number of mixtapes like Unluccy Kid (2019), and numerous albums such as One and Only (2020).

- He was brought up in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn in New York.
- Sheff G has recalled that while growing up, he being of Caribbean origin, his family would have Soca music on but his cousins had been in tune with the Brooklyn and New York music and so would be listening to artists like The Notorious B.I.G. and 50 Cent. So, there always used to be a variety of music around.

- In August 2020, Sheff G along with his rap collaborator Sleepy Hallow through Winners Circle Entertainment had signed a partnership deal with RCA.
