  2. Dave Goldberg (2004-2015) – In 2004, Sheryl got married to the businessman and management consultant Dave Goldberg, who was working as an executive with Yahoo! at the time of their marriage. Over the course of their marriage, they became parents of a boy and a girl. They have been a vocal supporter of the shared earning marriage model. In May 2015, in a surprising and shocking announcement, it was revealed that Goldberg had passed away. He had endured head trauma after falling from a treadmill during their holidays in Mexico.   1. When she was in her sophomore year in high school, she was the class president and a member of the senior class executive board. She was also a member of the National Honor Society.
  2. While studying in high school, she also used to serve as an aerobics instructor.
  3. Sheryl was hired by Larry Summers as his research assistant at the World Bank, where he worked as the Vice President of Development Economics and Chief Economist.
  4. She worked for a year with World Bank on health projects in India. The projects were focused on blindness, AIDS, and leprosy.
  5. After graduating from Harvard Business School, she was employed in the position of management consultant for McKinsey & Company. She worked in that position for a year.
  6. In 1996, Sheryl was again hired by Larry Summers, who had been appointed as the United States Secretary of the Treasury by US President Bill Clinton. She worked in her position until November 2000 as she left her job after Republicans tightened their grip on US Presidency.
