- He was brought up in India.
- He has recalled that when he had decided to start dance classes, he had only seven students, five of whom had been his family and friends. However, he had been certain that performing arts was his true calling, and he had longed to use that as a platform for people to find themselves, also to realize their true calling, and find a space where they would never be judged. He had been delighted to witness how, over time, people began understanding the incredible power of dance to heal be it mentally, physically, or emotionally.
