- His father passed away at the age of 39, in January 2008, due to congestive heart failure. Stefon was just 14 years old at the time and had to take up the role of a father figure for his younger brothers.
- Stefon played football and ran track in high school competing as a sprinter.
- In 2010, Diggs was announced as a runner-up for Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year.
- He was chosen drafted 146th overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2015 NFL Draft, signing a four-year deal of $2.5 million which included a guaranteed $227,000 signing bonus.
