- He was interested in cameras and editing as a child and had made several short films using his parents’ video camera. He had also created a website called CakeBomb where he used to upload animated videos from a web series called asdfmovie, several of which went viral.
- While he was studying at the University of Lincoln, he had created several unofficial advertisements for the university which went on to receive millions of views. He was almost rusticated from the university as one of those videos was a parody with inappropriate content. However, he was forgiven when the viewership of that video started to skyrocket.
- In addition to his primary self-titled YouTube channel, he also runs another channel called DarkSquidge where he posts vlogs and behind-the-scenes footage from his first channel.
