Tyrod Taylor studied at Hampton High School in Hampton, Virginia. During his time there, he played several sports and was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and track. As a football player, he helped lead the team as a quarterback as well as became the team’s kick returner and safety. He led the team to a 34–4 record during his four years as a starter as well as accumulated 7,690 yards of offense and scored 100 total touchdowns.
