1. Alaya and her mother, Pooja Bedi, had co-starred in a YouTube series called Eff N Bedi where the duo had depicted the clash of ages in a fun and insightful manner delving deep into the relationship between a celebrity mother and her teenage daughter.
2. Her maternal great-grandmother, a British woman named Freda Bedi, was the first Western woman to have taken ordination in Tibetan Buddhism.
