He is known for playing Sanjay Verma in the Indian action thriller film Khoon Bhari Maang, Emperor Shah Jahan in the Indian historical drama film Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story, Gobinda in the British spy film Octopussy, and Sandokan in the Italian 6-part television miniseries Sandokan.
