- He was named after the Saint Crispin’s Day speech from the play Henry V written by William Shakespeare, that his parents had cherished. His middle name “Hellion” had been used earlier on as a fake middle name by his father, who had despised his own real Germanic middle name.
- Glover had kickstarted his acting career when he was 13 years old.
- It was Crispin’s idea for the Thin Man in the film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003) to be mute. After he had read the screenplay and the producers had asked him what his thoughts were, he had told them about his belief that his character would be best played without dialogue.
