As both of them took great interest in music, they founded the rock band from Vermont named Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, along with guitarist Scott Tournet in 2002. After dating for some time, Grace and Matt decided to tie the knot and got married on May 11, 2013, in the Caribbean. The news of their marriage became public only in November 2013 through a label report as the duo had previously been tight-lipped about the entire thing. Her paternal grandfather suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and, hence, in his honor, she has been a supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association which is a non-profit health organization which focuses on care, support, and research for Alzheimer’s disease. She has also participated in the “Night At Sardi’s” annual fundraiser in Los Angeles, California.
