- She has revealed that she came to India in the hope of earning some money as she had none and only six pairs of clothes. She went on to sign a contract with an agency and started doing modeling assignments in Mumbai along with print shoots, prior to landing roles in films.
- Izabelle has recollected that when she had come to India, she was unable to speak English and so did not talk to anyone. She only had a strong faith in herself that she would get some work. She has been shy by nature and has avoided speaking in public.
- Leite has recalled that she had not thought of getting a part in the film World Famous Lover. She had left India for good but within 10 days of doing so, she had got back again. Director Kranti Madhav had contacted her asking if she could fly to Hyderabad as he wished to narrate the script to her, for the lead role in the movie.
- When Izabelle was called for an audition, she had assumed it must have been for some print shoot. However, when she came to know that it was for a movie, she had left right away. She had thought that when she could not talk in English, nobody would expect her to utter dialogues in Hindi. The director had then called her agency who had, in turn, contacted her after which she had returned to screen test, rather reluctantly. The director had found her perfect for the part in Sixteen and in two weeks, she had worked hard on English and Hindi and begun to improve significantly.
