Jinkx Monsoon aka Jerick Hoffer is an American drag performer, actor, comedian, and singer who shot to fame after winning the 5th season of the reality television show RuPaul‘s Drag Race in 2013. They have starred in several other TV programs including Blame the Hero (2019) where they played the role of the Queen, have featured in a number of films such as Happiest Season (2020) in which they essayed the part of Em K. Ultra, and have performed in many notable theatre productions like Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2013) where they portrayed the character of Hedwig. They have also appeared in a variety of music videos such as Blondie’s Doom or Destiny (2017) and are an accomplished singer having released numerous albums including The Ginger Snapped (2018). Jinkx has been the recipient of several accolades including being placed 18th on the list of “the most powerful drag queens in America” made by a jury from the New York magazine in June 2019. They have built a strong fanbase having garnered more than a million followers on Instagram.
