First Album

Jooheon released his debut album The Clan Pt. 2.5: The Final Chapter as a part of Monsta X in March 2017. The album was a huge success and peaked at number 2 spot on the Korean music charts. It also made a name overseas by peaking at the number 1 spot on the US Billboard World Music chart.

1. Before his debut with Monsta X, Jooheon was already a member of a project group known as Nu Boyz under the same agency. The group also included #GUN, Shownu, and Wonho.
2. In December 2014, he performed at the Starship X concert as part of the Nu Boyz. Later in December 2014, he participated in Mnet’s competition program called No.Mercy and was selected to be the member of the 7-member South Korean boy band, Monsta X.
3. He was the first trainee to be confirmed as the group member of Monsta X.
4. Jooheon has an intense obsession with hats.
5. As he gets scared easily, the group members call him ‘the Chicken Man’.
