Leonard Nimoy was an American actor, photographer, author, director, producer, voiceover artist, singer, and songwriter who is best known for playing the character of Spock in the Star Trek franchise for almost 50 years, from a pilot episode shot in 1964 to his final film performance in 2013. He was also cast in several other projects including films and shows like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Land of the Lost, Deathwatch, Sinbad: Beyond the Veil of Mists, Assault on the Wayne, Ancient Mysteries, and Mission: Impossible. On January 16, 1985, Leonard Nimoy received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6651 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
