1. In 1996, she was spotted by singer Shin Seung-hun at a department store in Seoul. He then went on to cast her in the music video of his song Love in My Own Way.
2. Myung Se-bin was seen as Choi Na-hyun in the television series Paper Crane in 1998 and this won her the KBS Drama Awards for “Best New Actress” and “Photogenic Award, Actress”.
3. She played Shin Eun-hye in the 1998 film Scent of a Man and this role got her nominated for a Grand Bell Award as well as Blue Dragon Film Award in the “Best New Actress” category.
