  1. In June 1973, he appeared as Jimmy Lampard in an episode titled Property, Dogs & Women of the crime drama show New Scotland Yard.
  2. He played the role of Boysie in the comedy-drama film The Class of Miss MacMichael in 1978. The film is based on a novel by Sandy Hutson and stars Glenda Jackson, Oliver Reed, and Michael Murphy.
  3. In 1979, Patrick Murray appeared as Des the projectionist assistant in the drama film Quadrophenia. Loosely based on the Who‘s 1973 rock opera of the same name, the film’s lead cast consists of Phil Daniels, Leslie Ash, Toyah, Philip Davis, Mark Wingett, Sting, and Ray Winstone.
  4. He was cast as Dougan in the 1979 drama film Scum, starring Ray Winstone, Mick Ford, Julian Firth, John Blundell, Phil Daniels, and Ray Burdis.

  14. It was revealed in April 2023 that his lung cancer had returned and spread.
