S. Sreesanth is an Indian former cricketer, actor, dancer, television personality, and politician. He played all forms of cricket and served as a right-arm fast-medium-pace bowler and a right-handed tail-ender batsman. He was a member of the Indian cricket team that won both the 2007 T20 World Cup (notably taking the winning catch in the 2007 final) as well as the 2011 Cricket World Cup. He played for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well as became the first Kerala Ranji player to have played Twenty20 cricket for India. After his involvement in spot-fixing in the 2013 IPL, he was banned for life but the ban was later reduced to seven years in August 2019. In addition to that, S. - He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on March 25, 2016, and unsuccessfully contested the Kerala Assembly elections from Thiruvananthapuram as he secured a total of 34,764 votes but lost the election to VS Sivakumar of the Congress by 11,710 votes.
- Along with Zareen Khan, Gautam Rode, and Abhinav Shukla, S. Sreesanth co-starred as a lawyer named Gaurav in the 2017 Hindi-language erotic thriller film Aksar 2. It serves as a sequel to the 2006 film Aksar.
- In 2018, he appeared as a contestant on the 12th season of the television reality show Bigg Boss. His fellow contestants for the season included Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, Sourabh Patel, Neha Pendse, Anup Jalota, Srishty Rode, Saba Khan, Romil Chaudhary, and others. Sreesanth concluded his journey on the show as a runner-up.
