Harbhajan Singh is an Indian cricketer who has played all formats of cricket for India and became the second off-spinner with the highest number of Test wickets, behind Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan. He has also served as the captain of the IPL team Mumbai Indians and the team won the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 under his captaincy. Moreover, he was honored with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian honor, and was also in the World Cup-winning team of the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Over the years, Bhajji has been a part of several controversies and he was given a ban by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for racially vilifying Andrew Symonds in 2008.
