  1. She made her first theatrical film appearance by playing the role of Neha Mehra in the 2006 Hindi drama thriller film, Dil Diya Hai, in which she co-starred alongside Emraan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel, and Mithun Chakraborty.
  2. In 2007, Geeta Basra was cast alongside Emraan Hashmi, Sayali Bhagat, and Aditi Bhatia in the Hindi drama thriller film, The Train. She played the character named Roma Kapoor, a beautiful, captivating working woman who gets caught up in an extramarital affair.
  3. In the 2013 Indian Hindi-language political action thriller film titled Zila Ghaziabad, she made a special appearance in the song Baap Ka Maal.
  4. Geeta Basra has appeared in the music video for the song Ghum Sum Ghum Sum by Sukshinder Shinda and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. In the video, she was seen as the love interest of the male protagonist played by Rahul Bhat.
