- After he completed high school, Tate Stevens went on tours with a band named Dixie Cadillacs for a couple of years before returning home.
- Before he made it big in his career, he used to work for the city of Belton repairing roads.
- Tate Stevens was chosen as the lead singer of the band named Outlaw Junkies around the year 2005 and his bandmates included Steve Koken and Robert Harmon.
- In 2008, he formed his own 6-piece band called the Tate Stevens Band.
