- At the very beginning of Aca’s career, he would perform in various music genres that also included jazz and Gypsy music. Nevertheless, his fusion of genres made him stand out, hence, earning him the much-needed fame.
- After having performed at various clubs in Belgrade, he joined rock-musician Viktorija’s band.
- In 1995, he decided to start a solo career and with that, he also released his debut studio album titled Ponos i laž. However, he only began to gain recognition after the release of his 3rd studio album titled Lična karta in 1998.
