- In 2001, she became the first ever Indian woman to be crowned as ‘Mrs. World’.
- Aditi is a life-long vegetarian and practises Vipassana regularly.
- She played the role of Kamli in the 2005 film, Paheli starring Rani Mukerji and Shahrukh Khan in lead roles. The film was selected as India’s official entry to the 79th Academy Awards held in 2007. However, it did not make the final cut.
- Aditi was a very successful model and was honored with the ‘Kingfisher Model of the Decade’ award in 2008.
