- He brought to life the character of Manicka Vel in the 2005 Tamil-language masala film Majaa, a remake of the Malayalam film Thommanum Makkalum.
- In 2012, Biju Menon played the role of Suku (the K.S.R.T.C. driver from Palakkad) in the Malayalam comedy thriller film Ordinary. For this role, he won the Filmfare Award South in the “Best Supporting Actor (Malayalam)” category as well as the Asianet Film Award for “Best Character Actor”.
