- He often refers to his mansion in Henderson, Nevada as the So Cool Land and refers to his subscribers as the Wolfpack, often beginning his videos with the phrase What’s happening Wolfpack?
- Before starting his online journey, CJ had worked in several casinos in Nevada as a casino craps, blackjack, and poker dealer.
- CJ So Cool’s YouTube channel was briefly suspended in 2018 after viewers complained about a video in which he pranked his kids by hiding laxatives in their ice cream. The prank backfired after his children started screaming and crying. YouTube first deleted the video citing its policies against child abuse and then suspended his account for a while.
- In September 2019, he informed his millions of subscribers that he was lucky to still be alive after a scary incident involving him at a shopping mall.
