1. James auditioned for his role in the Harry Potter movie series at the age of 14 with no prior acting experience apart from doing a bit of work in plays hosted in his school.
2. His school drama teacher had advised James and his brother not to bother with acting as they won’t be able to do anything with it.
3. They had to take a day off from school to appear for the Harry Potter auditions.
4. Even at the first reading of the script on the Harry Potter sets, James and his brother didn’t know which Weasley twin they were supposed to be.
