1. Coming from a military background, he traveled to different places in his childhood as his family would move every 3 years.
2. After being born in Hawaii, he also lived in San Diego, Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
3. He moved to Japan when he was in 9th grade and finished high school there.
4. After graduating from high school, he moved to Atlanta, United States with his older brother.
