First Album

Mann released his debut studio album titled Mann’s World on July 25, 2011, and on August 2, 2011, via Def Jam Records and Beluga Heights Records labels. The album consisted of 9 tracks, out of which the most notable were Buzzin with 50 Cent, The Mack with Iyaz and Snoop Dogg, Get It Girl with T-Pain, as well as Reminisce and Wanna Go Back.

First TV Show

He made his first TV show appearance as himself in an episode of the comedy talk-show series The Mo’Nique Show on April 11, 2011.

  2. Mann was discovered by J.R. Rotem, a Canadian-American record producer, and songwriter. He also produced Mann’s debut album.
  3. Mann was initially signed to Mercury Records, a division of the large record label group entitled The Island Def Jam Music Group.
  4. He later founded his own recording label, Peace Life Quality Recordings, that he also operates. Artists LanaaMak a.k.a. Goldie Locs and Tone Oliver were signed to the label.
  5. He went to the same middle school as rappers Nipsey Hussle, Karrueche Tran‏, and Omarion, located in Los Angeles, California, United States.
  6. Mann and Nipsey Hussle had the same manager in the past, Steve Lobel from WeWorking University. Mann claimed that because he listened carefully when Nipsey spoke, he managed to learn a lot more about hip hop.
  7. He was often present, and thoroughly enjoyed Nipsey’s long recording sessions in the studio, as well as hanging out with him afterward.
  8. When Nipsey died on March 31, 2019, Mann joined the massive gathering of his fans at the Marathon Clothing store and later spilled the beer on the road in his honor after the funeral.
  9. He was a featured artist on the pop band Big Time Rush‘s song Music Sounds Better with U in 2011 and worked with Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean on the song Bend Ya in 2013.

  11. In 2012, he also made a guest appearance on the track Cat Daddy (Remix) alongside Dorrough, Chamillionaire, Tyga, and The Rejectz.
  12. The song he recorded with 50 Cent in 2010, titled Buzzin, got featured in the TV movie T4 on the Beach (2011), as well as episodes of 3 TV series – So Random! (2011), People Like Us (2012), and MacGyver (2018).
