- He co-starred as Nellai Mani in the 2006 Tamil-language medical thriller film E. This role earned Pasupathy a Filmfare Award for “Best Supporting Actor” as well as a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for “Best Supporting Actor”.
- He brought to life the character of “Barber Balu” Balakrishnan in the 2008 Tamil-language dramedy film Kuselan, an official remake of the 2007 Malayalam comedy-drama film Kadha Parayumbol. This performance won him an International Tamil Film Award (ITFA) in the “Best Supporting Actor Award” category.
