1. He made his first theatrical film appearance as the protagonist named Soori in the Telugu-language romantic comedy-drama film Uyyala Jampala in 2013. For this performance, Raj Tarun bagged the South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA Award) for “Best Male Debut (Telugu)”.
2. Alongside Avika Gor and Rao Ramesh, Raj Tarun co-starred as Kaththi in the Telugu-language romantic comedy film Cinema Choopistha Mava in 2015.
3. Opposite Hebah Patel, he co-starred as Siddhu (a chef leading a middle-class life with his mother in the K.G.B. colony) in the 2015 Telugu-language romantic drama film Kumari 21F.
