1. From an early age, Axwell was inclined towards music. He learned to play the drums on his own at the age of 9 and began creating music on his computer as a 13-year-old.
2. As a teenager, he was very active in the tracking music scene and had released many acid techno tracks under the moniker Quazar.
3. Axwell has won the DJ Awards in 2010 and 2011, in the “Best House DJ” category. He was also included on DJ Magazine‘s Top DJ 100 Poll at the 19th spot in 2013.
4. He suffers from Tinnitus which causes a constant ringing or humming sound in his ears.
5. In 2008, Axwell collaborated with Cyndi Lauper for the album Bring Ya to the Brink. He co-wrote and co-produced the song Rain On Me from the album.
