1. He was cast as himself in the 2007 Hindi-language sports drama film Apne, starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Katrina Kaif, and Shilpa Shetty.
2. Bhagwant Mann participated in the reality stand-up comedy series The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star Plus in 2008.
3. In 2010, he brought to life the character of Kewal Sharma in the Punjabi film Ekam: Son of Soil.
4. Alongside Babbu Maan and Mouni Roy, Bhagwant Mann co-starred as Shameem in the 2011 Punjabi-language romantic action film Hero Hitler in Love. The film is loosely based on the folktale of Mirza Sahiban.
5. He joined the People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) in 2011 and unsuccessfully contested assembly elections in the Lehra constituency in 2012.
6. Bhagwant Mann joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March 2014 and was later appointed as the convener of AAP Punjab in 2017.

11. In May 2023, he received Z-plus security from the Centre government due to a possible danger to him. 55 armed CRPF personnel along with Punjab police were designated for this purpose.
