- Wanya Morris – Brandy dated singer Wanya Morris in the mid-nineties. She has often acknowledged their relationship in her numerous interviews and has cited him as her first love. However, their relationship had been shrouded in controversy. It was claimed that they started dating when she was just 16 years old. Her mother and family decided to go on a trip to Las Vegas so that Brandy could have some alone time with Morris. - The role she eventually played in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer was meant for a Caucasian girl. But after she auditioned for the role, the movie producers decided to cast her.
