Ishant Sharma is a well-known Indian cricketer who is best known for his fast bowling, of which he has touched the 150 km/h on many occasions in international cricket. - He was raised in Delhi alongside his sister Eva Sharma in a family that was not so well-off.
- Ishant’s father Vijay worked on air conditioners and was the only provider for the family.
- He lost his kitbag when he went to play his first match.
- Sharma was 18 years old when he was chosen to play on the tour of South Africa in 2006–07.
- In 2008, Ishant was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders for an astounding $950, 000. This made him the highest-paid bowler for the tournament.
