- He was raised in the small town of Seinäjoki in Finland. He has recalled having fun as a kid tipping over cows. Jukka was blessed to have an idyllic childhood with a lot of love and attention but no rules, which he has believed to have resulted in a very confident child, with a good heart.
- Jukka has recounted that he has always craved to do something special and to discover his limits. He had such a disposition even when he was younger, that had made him apply for the Finnish Special Forces, where he had got selected.
