These techniques are nothing short of intense. The wedding workout routine actually involves working out 3 days a week with Hartwig and 2 days on her own.

Health Goal

Tim says that her current health goal is to maximize the fat loss and achieve a nice & lean look. For that, she is relying on a perfect mix of fitness and nutrition.

Wedding Diet Secrets

The stunner has also changed her diet a bit. Her wedding diet includes increasing water and protein intake. She has also added healthy carbs like sweet potatoes, quinoa, and brown rice to her diet and reduced her alcohol intake.

Her meal plan includes having 3 meals and 2 snacks in a day. Though many people believe that eating more is bad, the celebrity trainer believes that if you wish to stimulate the metabolism, you need to eat more.

He recommends that one should eliminate carbs in the evening and stick to fish or chicken during dinner. Snacking on avocado or cashews throughout the day is also beneficial.

Diet Indulgence

The skilled trainer allows Peta to have a cup of strawberries as a lightweight desert when her sweet tooth strikes. He also believes in the power of enjoying a cheat meal occasionally to get rid of pesky cravings and eating the same things over and over again.

No Scales?

Murgatroyd’s fitness guru is teaching her to stay away from a number on weighing scales. He is even encouraging her to stay away from the scale altogether.

She has not weighed herself throughout the program. Its’ not about the scales, it’s about how her clothes are fitting and how she looks and feels.

Post Pregnancy Weight Loss Struggle

Though the New Zealand-born beauty is doing well with her wedding workout routine and diet right now, losing weight hasn’t been too easy for her. After having her baby, Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy, she thought that she would get back to the pre-baby weight in just a month, but she didn’t achieve that target. Still, the slow weight loss didn’t disappoint her as she believes that slow and steady wins the race.

Mental Clarity is Vital

The green-eyed beauty thinks that fitness is equally about mental clarity as it is regarding the physical health of a person. She thinks that when you don’t feel like exercising, you need to push yourself and do only those that you can handle. It’s okay if you can’t run a mile, do what you can and go from there.

Staying Healthy Through Pregnancy

The Dancing with the Stars (2005-Present) pro believes in staying active all the time and she did that when she was pregnant.

When she was 20 weeks pregnant, she had the option to sit on the couch and watch TV all day but, she pushed herself to get up and move on a daily basis. She believes that women should have an active pregnancy because it’s better for their own well-being as well as the well-being of the baby. Just remember to exercise within the limits shared by the doctor and you will be fine.

The fiancé of Maksim Chmerkovskiy thinks that though people have different opinions on exercising when pregnant, she believes that women should do some kind of exercise every day during pregnancy until the time comes when they can’t move at all due to the weight of the baby in the last few weeks.
