Peta Murgatroyd is one busy woman. She is a skilled dancer, a career-oriented woman, a loving wife and a doting mother of a toddler. These days, she is busy following her passion for cooking and heaving healthy meals with her son. Read on to know what she is eating to look so great and how she manages to look exceptionally good during tours by knowing her tour fitness secrets.

Love for Cooking

The diva says that she used to loathe cooking but her attitude changed when her son was born. After her son Shai arrived in January 2017, she has started to ensure that his food is not unprocessed and very healthy.

She has fallen in love with cooking because it helps her know what exactly is going into her boy’s mouth. Her love for cooking is so intense that she is cooking at least three days a week despite having a busy schedule.

Meal Times

Though the loving mother ensures that her little munchkin eats on time, she is quite flexible with her eating schedule and changes it according to her work requirements. For instance, if she has a shoot scheduled for 7 in the morning, she can’t have breakfast until the shoot is over.

But after having a son, she tries to eat on time. One thing that remains constant is her morning coffee because it helps her to be in a good mood while beginning the day.

Hydration

The stunner stays hydrated by having at least 2.5 liters of water every day.

Breakfast

As mentioned before, she starts her day with a coffee that has agave and half & half. The breakfast usually includes an omelet with 4 eggs, 5 slices of smoked salmon, a bit of goat cheese, dill and capers.

Lunch

During lunch, she likes to have a salad that has a cup of grilled chicken, half cucumber, two tomatoes, dill, red onion, and a flaxseed-oil-and-balsamic-vinegar dressing.

Snack

When in a mood to munch, she has a bowl of blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries.

Dinner

The dinner usually includes a 5 oz. steak with dry seasoning and some steamed cauliflower, broccoli as well as brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and cranberries.

Dessert

When she wants to indulge, she has some Greek yogurt with dried mango and a mint tea.

Calorie Count

She has about 1750 calories in a day.

Fitness on Tour

Peta, her husband, Maks Chmerkovskiy and her brother-in-law Val Chmerkovskiy did a tour in 2018 in which she had to make a conscious effort to stay fit. She started her day with essential vitamins & supplements and did some stretching to ensure she remained fit. She also went for a daily 20-minute physiotherapy treatment that helped her to condition her body.

Weight Loss Changes

The beauty says that when she was in the rehearsal period, she lost a lot of weight because she did different styles of dancing and rehearsed for about 12 hours a day.

Towards the middle of the tour, the weight loss stopped, and she shifted her focus on maintaining her strength and endurance. She opted to trick her body into doing varied cardio so that her muscles never got bored.

Tour Exercises

Some of the exercises she usually does on tour are boxing, yoga, and Pilates.

Eating Well

She also eats well during every tour because the craft services are great on the tours they do.
