- She was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.
- Renee moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19, to pursue a passion of becoming a comedic actress. However, she later moved back to Toronto where she auditioned for films, music videos, and commercials but upon attaining no success doing so, Renee began taking an interest in broadcasting.
- In 2009, she got her first job as a broadcaster for The Score Television Network on a program called Right After Wrestling, which was later renamed Aftermath.
