Salman Khan Workout and Diet Secrets for Tiger Zinda Hai

Salman Khan, one of the leading actors of Bollywood is known for his fitness and ability to train for any role. He recently changed his body for an upcoming film, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) which also stars his rumored ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. The result? He is looking more ripped than ever, and when you look at his sexy body, you won’t believe that he has already crossed the half-century age mark.

Workout Secrets

The director of the much-awaited film, Ali Abbas Zafar was the one who spilled the beans on Salman’s fitness changes for the role. He said that the actor had pushed himself to play the part well. He also mentioned that it was awe inspiring to see one of the biggest superstars of India go through the grind on a daily basis to maintain the fantastic fitness levels that he has achieved.

Explaining the workout schedule, the director said that the son of Salim Khan trained for 3 months at the gym before the shoot began. He was also training every day during the shooting of the film and never gave up on it even when he had to shoot on the alps and pull off some daring stunts. Cycling was a preferred workout method of the actor as he used to come to the set on a cycle after riding it for about 10 km. Apart from cycling, the star had also created his own exercise regime.

Diet Secrets

The Sultan (2016) actor stuck to a diet that helped him to keep light and agile. He was very conscious of everything he was eating. He enjoyed a cheat day only on the last day in Greece.

Long Spanning Efforts

Before starting the shoot for this thrilling sequel, Khan starred in Sultan, a movie for which he had to put on considerable weight. So, his first goal was to become fit from fat and get rid of the excess weight. He had to shed 18-20 kgs, and this was a painful experience for him.

Inspiring Others

The brother of Sohail Khan inspired a co-actor, Angad Bedi to stay fit as well. Bedi spent a lot of time seeing him exercise and often worked out with him. He says that many people don’t realize that the Dabangg (2010) actor is a sports personality as he grew up playing cricket, table tennis and enjoying many other sporting activities like cycling. So, staying fit is a way of life for him. He has got a very good understanding of how human body changes and how can you increase the fitness levels. The difference between muscle fit and endurance fit is also clear to him. He has scientific knowledge regarding these things too.

When on the set, the duo also indulged in some sports like a tennis session or volleyball. Sometimes, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) actor worked out for two times in a day, and sometimes, he went jogging when it was 50 degrees Celsius. He even put up a gym on the set, so the actors could get encouragement to shoot, train or play some sport whenever they had some spare time.

Another Transformation

Sallu Bhai also inspired Angad to do tons of physical training as well. As he had to play the role of a RAW agent, he learned how they think, how they live, how they train (their body combat style), how they use a gun, explosives, etc. and what are their mannerisms among other things. The Pink (2016) actor went on that journey for about two months before the shoot began. He also got proper training in kickboxing, agility training and making explosives.

Are you impressed by the dedication showed by the Hum Aapke Hain Kaun (1994) actor? If so, don’t forget to catch Tiger Zinda Hai that’s hitting the theatres on December 22, 2017.
