Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedian, voiceover artist, and author who was cast in a couple of projects, including Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, The Lorax, This Means War, Important Things with Demetri Martin, The Whitest Kids U’ Know, and Bored to Death, before she co-starred as Donna Stern in the 2014 coming-of-age comedy-drama film, Obvious Child, for which she won the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for “Best Actress in a Comedy” and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Independent Film Award. She is also known for her roles like Harley Quinn in The Lego Batman Movie, Gidget in The Secret Life of Pets, Dawn Bellwether in Zootopia, Valerie Da Vinci in Despicable Me 3, and Pony Head in Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

- Dean Fleischer-Camp (2010–2016) – Jenny met film editor and director Dean while collaborating on projects when she was still a working actress based in Brooklyn, New York. Their relationship got stronger with time and the couple moved in together in 2010 after relocating to Los Angeles. They subsequently got married in 2012. By 2016, frequent disagreements drifted the couple apart. Jenny stated that she did not want their mutual differences to create such a big divide that it became impossible for them to collaborate professionally in the future. - Jenny revealed that as soon as she entered college, she quickly changed from a studious young girl to a pothead.
