Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedian, voiceover artist, and author who was cast in a couple of projects, including Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, The Lorax, This Means War, Important Things with Demetri Martin, The Whitest Kids U’ Know, and Bored to Death, before she co-starred as Donna Stern in the 2014 coming-of-age comedy-drama film, Obvious Child, for which she won the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for “Best Actress in a Comedy” and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Independent Film Award.
