- During his teenage years, Madhu founded a record label which was then sold to Supreme Recording Company. After that, he went on to create Adlabs’ International Operations under the aegis of entrepreneur Manmohan Shetty. He was also the head of Saregama Films.
- He got his big break producing the Hindi film Ghajini in 2008, starring Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal, and Jiah Khan to name a few. The film went on to be the highest-grossing film of the year.
- Madhu is the founder and CEO of the marketing company Big Bang Media Private Limited. His company became the official marketing and commercial partner of the Hockey India League.
