Mehcad Brooks is an American actor, singer, producer, and former model. He is best known for having been cast as Matthew Applewhite in the ABC mystery comedy-drama series, Desperate Housewives (2005–2006), for which he also won a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2006 in the Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series category.
