  2. Quentin Tarantino (1996–1998) – Mira started dating filmmaker and director Quentin Tarantino in 1996 after meeting him at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 1995. He was her escort at the 68th Academy Awards in March 1996 where Mira won the “Best Supporting Actress” award for Mighty Aphrodite (1995). The couple broke up amicably in March 1998.   2. Mira had her first kiss at the age of 13 at a party.
  3. Her mother also encouraged her to write and act in backyard plays with her childhood friend and fellow actress, Hope Davis.
  4. The day after she graduated from Harvard, Mira visited a local salon to get her hair dyed 1950s beach blonde because she wanted to get rid of her serious student persona.
