1. While growing up, he idolized Jackie Chan and wanted to learn karate like him.
2. Although he was born in Ukraine, Nikita immigrated to Italy with his family at the age of 9. Additionally, he also lived in Frankfurt, Germany for a few years starting from the age of 18.
3. Like him, his sister Anastasia is also a professional dancer and has competed in the Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing titled Ballando con le Stelle in the past.
4. In 2021, Nikita joined Strictly Come Dancing during the show’s 19th season. In his first year, he was partnered with Gordon Ramsay‘s daughter, Tilly Ramsay and the pair reached the 6th place in the competition. The following year in 2022, he was paired with the Paralympian swimmer Ellie Simmonds and the duo made it to the 10th place on the show. In 2023, he was joined by the musical theater performer Layton Williams. The two made it as far as the 2nd place before getting eliminated from the show.
