  1. When he was younger, his father wanted him to be an army person.
  2. He was interested in cricket but was scared of his father.
  3. In 2005, his mother passed away in an accident that traumatized him so much that he wanted to quit cricket.
  4. He made his first-class debut in October 2006.
  5. In 2005, he made his Under-19 debut for India at the age of 16 and was again picked in the Indian squad for the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
  6. He impressed everyone in the final of the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup against Pakistan where he took 3 wickets and India ended up being the runners-up.
  7. Ravindra was made the vice-captain of the Indian team in the 2008 U/19 Cricket World Cup where he took a total of 10 wickets in 6 games at an average of 13 and India emerged victoriously.
  8. In 2008, he was part of the Indian U-19 cricket team that went on to win the World Cup in Malaysia and the team was led by the Indian Captain Virat Kohli.
  9. On February 8, 2009, Ravindra played his first ODI match against Sri Lanka and made 60 runs on 77 balls in that match.

  22. In March 2023, Jadeja was promoted to Grade A+ from Grade A which meant he started getting ₹7 crores annually instead of previously ₹5 crores. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah were the only other 3 players in the 7-crore bracket.
  23. In September 2023, Jadeja became India’s joint-highest wicket-taker in ODI Asia Cup history. He had taken 22 wickets until that time along with Irfan Pathan.
  24. In February 2024, his father revealed that he was not on good terms with his son Ravindra. At that time, he was living alone in a 2BHK house in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Just after 3 months of Ravindra’s marriage in 2016, he separated from his son. According to him, Rivaba was only after Ravindra’s money and even wanted everything to be transferred in her name after 3 months of marriage.
  25. In February 2024, he completed 500 wickets in first-class cricket. He took 125 first-class matches to reach the milestone.
